Helping build wealth through starting, buying or investing in business or real estate.
Baldo Minaudo graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Urban Economics (Specializing in Urban Planning) with a second Major in sociology. At the time, his thesis on Toronto’s Urban Housing market accurately predicted the timing and magnitude of the upcoming surge in condominium prices. He later obtained his MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Throughout his studies and up to now, Baldo has always played an active role in his community and helped others improve their lives through systemic solutions and innovations. At U of T, he was involved with the Bay Street Land Sales committee and at Schulich, he was heavily involved with International Business and Marketing associations and ran the Entrepreneur’s Club.
Shortly after graduating, he worked at Proctor & Gamble in the area of Brand Management. He left P&G to become a partner in a boutique merchandising company, which he helped expand to become the 2nd largest outsourced merchandising force (covering over 95% of all retail outlets across the country by sales volume) in Canada.
Baldo’s full-time career began at the Canadian Organization of Small Business, during which time he also started a part-time business designing, manufacturing and selling home structural products into the Toronto market. Meanwhile, he assisted with managing residential real estate properties.
Adapting to the economic changes, in 1993 Baldo decided to join Bank of Montreal as a Financial Analyst. At the bank, he was enrolled in the executive management training program, rotating into the personal commercial financial services division, where he obtained both personal and commercial lending limits. He then was promoted to managing the Bank’s International Trade Finance Services brand around the world.
Baldo left the bank after 7 years to start his own Management Consulting business through which he did work with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, HRWorks, and acted as the President for the Canada-Mexico Business Council.
In the early 2000’s he was labeled as Canada’s first master networker and later received an award from TLN Television for one of Canada’s top 6 most distinguished business professionals of the year.
Baldo has helped start and finance hundreds of companies, some of which have been taken public. His work on Bay Street has included being the Vice-President of a publicly-traded Uranium exploration company and being a principal in a Wawa Gold Property Venture.
Today, Baldo continues to concentrate on what he does best, which is to link people with the BEST solutions, but more importantly to help his clients buy, sell, and invest in real estate and operating businesses. As part of his service, he manages investment and rental properties for his clients.
With an highly developed understanding of urban lifestyles, living options, housing options and property economics, Baldo helps his clients find solid real estate purchases and negotiates the best possible price, whether for the seller or the buyer. When you’re ready to make a change in your life or make a more solid investment in your future for yourself and your family, Baldo will take the time to guide you through the process.
